Lykens, PA The First NB Ch. # 11062 PMG 30 $5 Ty 2 SN 000010 pp D209/477 binary An evenly circulated binary SN that is a well embossed small size $5 that is the only Type 2 of any denomination reported from this Dauphin County charter. PMG mentions minor rust on its holder but any such rust cannot be found even after close examination.
Receivership Dec. 29, 1933. J.M. Sheibley, Cashier (1918-1933) and Samuel H. Miller, President. Appears Samuel H. Miller (VP 1929-1933) replaced long-serving R. Coble (President 1918-1933) just before the Receiver took over the bank.
