Hamilton, NY The National Hamilton Bank Ch. # 1334 $1 Original Fr. 380a PMG 10 SN 1841/B370736 pp B Aug. 1st 1865. This Madison County bank, the only issuer in a college town (Colgate University) is located between Utica and Syracuse and is more common as First Charter notes than Third. Penned signatures of long time Cashier D.B. West and President Adon Smith.
