Owner's Description

This is a mid to lower grade 1902 Date Back from the National Bank of Commerce in St. Louis, Missouri. It looks quite a bit better than a 20, but does have some hard folds that are more evident on the reverse. Nice bold dark signatures grace the face of the note. It got a net grade for being retouched and due to discoloration. I am not too sure what retouched means, but it may have been laundered or had some erasures because it was dirty. Acquired on eBay.

Why St. Louis? I have some family history there that I will go into at some time in the future in a journal entry.
