Set Description:
Backstory: My introduction to this title came decades ago when I obtained a raw copy of issue #14 at a comic book show. I didn't collect war comics, but the action filled Don Heck cover piqued my curiosity and that was enough to make me want to investigate the title. Shortly after my purchase, I discovered that it was a relatively manageable run of comics, so I made a mental note to keep an eye out for them when digging thru boxes. As time moved on, I began to see very high-grade copies available in auctions and the set began to take shape. While not being my main focus, I still continue to upgrade the set, and of course have a raw reader set to enjoy. I've also been able to add some original art pages to my collection, some of which can be seen in this set.
