Batgirl as a whole has come a long way, and while later iterations are aware of earlier versions, it takes each and every honorable mention when achieving the lofty mantle to then take up and follow. While leaving off their own faults to make do with what is established, as Batgirl in the universal sense has been an oracle, teacher, and a lover as well a fighter. Here we have the colors of what makes it possible to step out on one's own, even on nights in a crime ridden city, and of their own accord, will, and ableness. Not all are found with the endurance to withstand and last long, but along with a good writer's sense and any artist worth their hire can make a pleasurable read of any Batgirl comic or issue. The lore builds and rests on the younger generation to, like their elders, be brought up in the way they should go and when older not depart. Such is the torch of the light that shines in Gotham's night and beyond!
