Owner's Description

This coin, like many of the coins I purchased during the early years of my collecting, serves to remind me of my poor grading abilities. Many coins were purchased, ostensibly as UNC/BU coins, only to be graded as AU or, even worse, as AU Details. While this was quite depressing at the time, I never imagined that my incompetence as a grader would give me a basis for creating a competitive circulated type set. Every storm cloud does, indeed, have a silver lining (no pun intended). Too, I eventually found it much safer to buy only certified coins, placing my trust in the good folks at NGC.
