Owner's Description

1872-S $20 AU58 NGC. The yellow-gold surfaces are highly lustrous and show a peppering of marks throughout, mostly small but with a few larger abrasions visible without a loupe. The strike is quite sharp, with all star centrils full and good detailing on the eagle and shield. The 1872-S is a slightly lower-mintage date at 780,000 pieces, half that of the 1876-S, for example.(
