(No pedigree)

A common coin in an uncommon holder, this 1919-S Very Good Lincoln resides in an NGC-8 slab, which was used only for a few weeks transitionally. You can identify the NGC-8 by the tiny font on the slab number, which is located below the bar code. With that said, I still can not figure out why someone paid to certify this common date Lincoln Cent in the first place.
