Owner's Description
Lyman Allen #2.08 (KM #163) - Mintage: 2,700,000
This issues is fairly easy to come by, but Red and RB examples are rare.
This particular coin is reasonably well struck and even though predominantly brown, exhibits hints of the pale, brassy coloring which is very typical of copper coins struck at the San Francisco mint between 1908 and 1924. It has great eye appeal and fits very well into my collection.
Varieties: None cataloged for this date
Date acquired: 6/29/2010 (already graded by NGC)
Rev. 11/04/2012
