Unlike the rest of the run this issue does not contain reprints; instead it contains an original story containing the first appearance of Marvel's Scarecrow. The book implies Dead of Night would be an on-going vehicle for the Scarecrow, however this was the last issue of the series. The Scarecrow's next appearance occurs in Marvel Spotlight #026 followed by Marvel Two-In-One #018.
