Ok so for this Variant there were 17 graded and of those 9 are 9.8… that’s the first time so far that any of the core variants reach single digit numbers in the 9.8 census since it started. Along with that there are 7 others that have been signed and this one needs to hop over from the 9.8 list to the 9.8 SS list.
PERSONAL STORY OF HEROISM…
The very last line was by far the best one of the series.
"No More Avengers"
Following M Day events, the Messiah Complex, Messiah War, Second Coming, Avengers Childrens Crusade and hand full of other series this was by far the one statement that needed to be made from the start of this series.
While I still hate that they treat Hope more like a child rather than a kick ass girl from the future I do like the return of Scarlet Witch and the showing of her power. Additionally this is also where we see the beginnings of how Iron Fist ties into this whole series with the ability to deflect Cyclop's Phoenix style blasts.
Anyways, great story and even better art throughout. Some of the Splash pages here have been absolutely amazing. The Magik/Colossus page is absolutely awesome.
