Plot Summary:
Magneto has come to defend his Acolytes, and helps them get the upper hand. Fabian Cortez overloads Psylocke's powers before being defeated by Beast and Gambit. Magneto takes out Wolverine and Cyclops. After briefly gaining the upper hand, the X-Men are defeated and taken to Asteroid M.
Back at the mansion, the rest of the X-Men are on red alert, because they believe Magneto will come for them next. Professor Xavier does not care, and he goes and attempts to help Moira MacTaggert. Magneto then kidnaps the two of them and takes them to Asteroid M. He forces Moira to reveal that while he was in infant in her care, she had experimented on him genetically in hopes of finding a cure for her son. Magneto violently lashes out at her, but does not kill her, instead making her replicate the process on the X-men.
In the end, the X-Men on Asteroid M tell Professor Xavier they have decided to join Magneto, much to his shock. The X-Men remaining on Earth, Storm, Colossus, Jean Grey, Iceman, Forge, Banshee, and Archangel decide they are going to go save him, despite impossible odds.
