Owner's Description

x2 signed by Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting. Big thanks goes out to Will Wong and Kris Moore for helping me to be able to get this one (and alot of others - this issue all the way to #36!) done.

The world without Cap continues as Tony Stark announces at the beginning of the issue, he makes a public statement that no one will take on the mantle of Captain America.

Bucky visits the memorial that has been raised for Cap and decides that he has to get Cap's shield.

Sharon Carter wants to kill herself, but she can't and we see the extent of the mental manilpulation of Doctor Faustus. While Falcon goes to see her to go after Bucky.

The best parts of the issue come in the confrontation we get between Bucky and the Black Widow (she's charged with moving Cap's shield to a safe location), and Brubaker takes the opportunity to add some very complex, but welcomed history between them. It ultimately ends with Bucky claiming the shield after he gives the Black Widow a concussion.

From the Black Widow's encounter with Bucky, she tells Tony that she believes that Bucky is coming after him, setting up a a future confrontation!

Also pictured is my reading copy signed by creative team of Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting and Mike Perkins.
