This Rocky Mountain copy upgraded a copy I bought from the San Diego Comic Con in the early 90's. I found this to be a pretty tough issue to get in nice shape, the white cover doesn't help. I think people don't realize how tough some of the early 12 cent DC's can be in nice shape.
This issue has the added bonus of being the first time that the story of Ma and Pa Kent's death was told.
DC sometimes seemed annoyed that fans wanted continuity. "Superman doesn't have any parents." "Superboy has parents, what happened to them?" "Uh, they died?" Sounds like a good story...
