Highest graded Signature Series copy! Signed by Charles Vess and Jeff Smith at the 2025 Baltimore Comic-con. I’m not sure who the facilitator was since I bought this on eBay. This is the most beautiful copy I’ve ever seen first hand and comes very close to the universal 9.8 (which I’ve seen scans of). Officially graded by CGC on March 10, 2026.

INSIDE THE COMIC
Forty-eight pages of story with no ads or letters. The inside front cover has a full color illustration of Rose on the left (holding a large sword with a shield on her back in front of a red dragon, but not The Red Dragon). The following credits are on the right: Written by Jeff Smith, Illustrated by Charles Vess, and Lettered by Steve Hamaker. The inside back cover has another color illustration of Rose in mid-air avoiding arrows and spears on the right. The following credits are on the left: Font Design by Charles Vess, Logo Design by John Mangus, Jeff Smith as Series Editor. For Cartoon Books: Vijaya Iyer as President, Kathleen Glosan as Production Manager, Steve Hamaker as Production Designer, and Kevin Spain for Shipping and Archiving. A note on the bottom left proclaims “Based on characters from the comic book series Bone”. The back cover is all blue with a small Cartoon Books title and an illustration of Fone Bone in a thin black border.
