This is IT!
The BATTLE OF THE CENTURY-- any century!
Title: "Thundra at Dawn!"
While celebrating New Years, the Fantastic Four are attacked by Thundra who kidnaps Alicia in order to force Thing into a one on one duel against her at Shae Stadium. Meeting the challenge to free Alicia, Ben battles Thundra, while the others battle the other members of the Frightful Four and free her.
With Ben losing the battle, Reed has Ben shot with a dart that momentarily changes Ben back into his human form. Disgusted by the sight of a weak male, Thundra flees the fight, Ben resuming his human form daring her to battle him again. With the mission a success, the new Fantastic Four returns home.
Notes:
Plot by Thomas, script by Conway.
This issue is reprinted in other comics and books, see references for more info.[1]
Trivia:
Shea Stadium was a Hotspot for Professional Wrestling, especially in the 70s and 80s; for Example: on September 1st 1972 Bruno Sammartino and Pedro Morales fought to a 75 Minute Time Limit Draw and on August 9th 1980 Hulk Hogan lost to André the Giant in their earlier feud (before WrestleMania III), in April of 1973 it was Thundra vs. Ben Grimm headlining the Shea Stadium (probably in front of a record breaking Audience)!
