"Spawn Ad!" In a Limited and Numbered Edition of Rust #1. McFarlane was sure to get the word out on his impending Spawn book and series in the 90's. He was pioneering a company and had a now classic cover of the 1st issue of Spawn, which is the illustration in the ad of Rust #1 as well! Manufactured with ""No. 1943"" printed on back cover. Oh YA! That Limited Edition. Keep them coming. Almost found this at the used bookstore, although it didn't seem in the best of shape. Sometimes you take what you can get, just don't give up on the rest. There are times when you spy deals but can't be too greedy. I got this off of Ebay for $27 shipped, actual auction win was like $23, but then there is tax and shipping to $27. An awesome spy of deal for what it is, it is a book that has promise. Spawn has some dealings that came from many a publication for word of mouth, it turned out to be worth it.
Complete with a back cover picture of what the true "90's 'Image' art" looked like! In poster gun cannon form, and complete with veins, steroids, and some kind of angst. It could take a kid from 60 to 90 miles per hour with some aggressive speed!
