1st appearance of The Robin King! An alternate universe that collides with the everyday Batman, and or making it goth? A version of Robin, and he is a king? Many a twisted turn! Along with the Batman Who Laughs, they are seeking to take the new world into ours, join them at the hip, and have a slaying good time of it while they are at it! Even a "baby Darkseid" couldn't have foreseen the misfortune that surrounds the Batman and the key to stopping the merge. Complete with cackling and taking it seriously, the heroes are searching for the answers of the backward and twisted. Oddly enough the villains seem more than forthcoming with information ha-ha. He's only laughing on the inside hoping that you might join him for a weep. I wonder what the theme song would be for this iteration. Not na, nana, nana, but instead "ana, anana, anana?" All in good fun!
Complete with a back cover picture of the insides of this issue from my under copy, showing the Robin King menace, and there is a Dark Knights Dinosaur in the following pages, it takes all worlds and ages when it comes to the beyond, just know which side your on and you're good! Beware the Dark Knight: Metal!
