Owner's Description

Weird Fantasy #16(#4) is referenced in Fredric Wertham’s “Seduction of the Innocent” (SOTI) in the text on page 144.

On page 144, Wertham comments on several comic book flaws and notes his opinion of the poor editorial content of comics “And the editorial comments are no better than the story text; e.g. ‘cosmic correspondence: Greetings, humanoids! Drag over a cyclotron and crawl in! (If we’da known you were coming, we’da baked an isotope!)’”

Wertham’s editorial example comes from the introductory paragraph of the letter page of Weird Fantasy #16(#4) (1950 series).
