Matt Wagner story, cover & art! Boardies Grendelbo and Grendel013 both were collecting as no tomorrow, what has been on my radar for a year or more. Time to cash in those expectations and look with fondness on the eyes that behold that which makes the story a hero. The likes of unmasking to see the true nature with crime noir, but not looking too closely, save that which is familiar! In lies the rub that takes the new 80's phenom in writing attributes and illustrated art. The colors being of the printing style back then with a little rub to it as if done in colored pencil, and yet, a 9.8 with white pages is nothing to sneeze at, forgive the childishness in the naivety. It calls back to those wooded areas, where in lies this 2024 October and Halloween approaching, to snag a CGC 9.4 at $122 shipped. I needed to make hay as the sun shines, for the backwards mind needs renewing toward a hobby and friends, which is all accommodating.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of such a mystery, "Monster Summer!" A like-minded detective unearths possibilities with adventure seeking kiddos, that only reminds the mortal coil that inherent are the clues that often lean towards one believing in the "Supernatural!" ~ DC TALK; a good song!
