Owner's Description

This book has near-perfect cover centering and cover orientation, and with pure White Pages, it is one of the best-looking Astonishing Tales #3 book, I have seen. Furthermore this book marks the entry of Barry White to the series, thus for collectors of Barry Smith books this book is a key issue (together with the origin of Garokk). According to Wikipedia:

"Garokk, also known as the Petrified Man, is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Astonishing Tales vol. 1 #2 (November 1970) and was created by Roy Thomas and Jack Kirby".
