Set Description
After a 27 year absence from the comic realm, a re-imagination of M.A.S.K was first teased in the IDW Revolution 00 crossover that came out on the 2nd of May 2016. A couple months later on the 28th of September, M.A.S.K finally made its mark with its own M.A.S.K: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand: Revolution #1 One-Shot, written by the talented Brandon Easton of Marvel's Agent Carter fame. That was just the start, an extended tease. The Easton reimagined M.A.S.K with a modern twist, set in "a complex new world order where nothing is what it seems", was given the green light with Issue #1 of a 10 issue series released in November 2016. In March 2017 an Annual was published with a spin on the first Cartoon "The Deathstone" and the series concluded with issue #10 in October 2017. That was the last we saw of the run, bar two compilations, Volume 1: Mobilize" published in July 2017 and Volume 2: Rise of V.E.N.O.M published in December 2017.
