Purchased on 18 May 2026 from the Mesquite Collection of Conder Tokens (HA.com Auction #61588).
One of 6 graded by NGC (4 BN and 2 RB pieces). This is the finest numerically graded piece, with one other graded MS65RB, three graded MS63BN, and one graded as MS64BN.
PCGS has graded 5 examples. One in XF40BN, two MS63BN, one in MS64BN, and one in MS64RB.
Low Hall. Copper halfpenny. ~9.7 gm. 28 mm. Engraved by Wyon. Manufactured by Kempson. About 200 impressions. 1797. A man with a horse operating a gin / LOW HALL COLLIERY 1797 in three lines.
