This is a so-called "Union Taler" or "Vereinsthaler" of Ernst of Saxe-Altenburg (1853-1908). Brilliant-uncirculated coin with full cartwheel luster, highly reflective fields and minimal contact marks on obverse. Sharp strike, beautiful details of the arms. Graded as MS 64 by PCGS but looks like MS 65. Popular collectible item on ANY auctions! Great investment find as well!
