a fabulous, rainbowed example of this second year of mintage. Originally minted in 1892 for the 400th anniversary of Columbus' voyage, the design was used for a second year to be distributed at the Worlds Fair. I already had the 1892 but after seeing the rich blue rim toning--I knew it had to be added...very handsome piece
