NGC MS 63.

The certified population for this type of taler is quite scarce with only single coins graded as MS and we are offering one graded as MS 63 by NGC - Taler of Friedrich Wilhelm of Hesse-Cassel (1847-1866), 1864. This one variety without CP on truncation. Attractive patina, dull luster, sharp uncirculated details - very attractive-looking collectible coin! Some excessive handling marks on obverse as well as tiny edge nick on reverse probably determine the grade - MS 63 - still TOP POP for this type of taler! Great collectible and RARE find!
