Rama IX gold "Bangkok Bicentennial " 9000 Baht BE 2525 (1982) MS64 NGC, KM-Y151. Commemorating the bicentennial of Bangkok and the beginning of the Rattanakosin Era in 1781. Features the first King, Rama I, Yodfa Chulaloke, and the current King (in 1982) Rama IX, Bhumibol Adulyadej. Early thai coins of Rama V and VI featured dates based on the "RS" Era dating system from 1781, like 121 etc. for the first decades of the 1900's.

Population 52 at NGC including this one and 20 at PCGS in all grades.
