An amazing piece from the age of King Edward, the 1903B straits settlements 1 dollar raised mintmark, the raised mintmark is significantly rarer that the incuse mintmark, as they are more sought after. Both the incuse and the raised. mintmarks were both struck at the Bombay mint, which is located in India, yet in lower grades they are still worth quite a lot, but this piece is in a very nice condition of AU50, which stands for About uncirculated 50, which also means that it is extremely close to a mintstate grade, as this piece has only minor wear, this piece is extremely sought after by collectors of strait settlements coinage, thank you for reading!
