The 1972 T-2 Eisenhower Dollar has as estimated mintage of 100,000 - 300,000. PCGS Coinfacts states that probably less than 40,000 exist in mint state, making this the Key of the Eisenhower Dollar series.
The 1972 Type 2 Ike is listed as #21 in the book "100 Greatest U.S.Modern Coins Volume 4"
