This is a 1982 pattern of the 5 forint type of 1983-1989. Note that this is the earlier version of the pattern dated 1982, although the business strike was not produced until the following year. A pattern dated 1983 also exists. As with most post 1956 Soviet era patterns, 50 pieces were struck.
