Owner Comments:
Doubled Die Obverse/Greer Reverse B, on Reverse B the mintmark slopes upward - During the third reverse die pairing, Obverse 5 shows degradation in design element details. A group of die scratches appear under the 876 date digits. In this interim die state, most of LIBERTY's gown folds have been eliminated. The doubling on the lower gown folds cannot be detected on this higher grade specimen. Reverse F presents a Small CC mintmark that tilts left. This reverse die also shows significant erosion around both E's in ONE DIME. Greer states that "This is the most common of the three die pairings in any grade."
