P. Clodius M. f. Turrinus - 42 BC - AR Denarius - 4.08g 18.2mm – Crawford 494/23 – Syd 1117 – Claudia 15 – OBV: Laureate head of Apollo right Lyre behind – REV: P. CLODIVS on right, M.F. on left – Diana Lucifera standing holding two long torches, bow and quiver on her shoulder. This superlative example possesses excellent centering, fully struck, and no weakness. Beautiful iridescent toning.
