1849 California Model Dollar Set by Joseph Moore of Birmingham, England. The full set includes a box coin (two sides), a Model Half Eagle, a Model Dollar, a Model Half-Dollar, and a Model Quarter-Dollar. Side 1 of the Box shows a harbor scene and the text "Emigration to California." Side 2 depicts a Gold Mining Scene. with the text "California." This set is incomplete in that it is missing the Quarter -Dollar piece and the Second (Emigration) side of the Box Coin.
