2016-W Walking Liberty Half Dollar, 24K gold, 1/2 oz. First Releases, signed by John M. Mercanti. 100th anniversary of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. NGC graded SP-70. U.S. Mint produced 70,000 coins. 500 signed by John Mercanti. 150 signed by John Mercanti SP-70. 350 were graded SP-69 and SP-70, signed by John Mercanti and sold in pairs. These 350 were were matched by 350 signed by Liz Jones. Therefore, this is one of 150 known coins.
This is one of 3 Centennial coins produced in gold; Mercury Dime, Standing Liberty Quarter, and Walking Liberty Half Dollar. 1,760 graded by NGC on 8/11/17 without signatures.
