WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON 1840 : DeWitt WHH 1840-54 ; "The People's Choice" . Medalet promoting William Henry Harrison for President. Holed for suspension. Uncommon Portrait Variety, much scarcer than the standard military bust types. Obv. Iivilain bust of Harrison to three-quarter left; inscription around. "MAJ: GENI. W. H. HARRISON BORN FEB. 8. 1773." / Rev. Center, log cabin with flag flying from the roof and large cider barrel right; inscription above, "THE PEOPLES CHOICE"; below, "IN THE YEAR 1840".
