Owner Comments:

Nice Jefferson nickel with great luster and decent strike for year. Entire coin is bathed in light reddish-gold toning. Only detractions appear to be a a some light contact marks. Coin would grade hugher if Monticello strike was stronger - barely 3 columns are visible and steps are a big smudge. Cost: $8.73 on 12/7/11 on eBay from Jack Crooker (jcrooker). Note: Image is stock photo provided by seller of equivalent coin. Certification number of coin in photo is only 7 digits off of actual coin. Weak strike areas of both coins are similar.
