Owner Comments:

Ex-Ozarks Proof Singles Estate.

This coin came from an estate hoard consisting largely of raw proof coins that was fresh to the market and distributed in 2014. Upon submission to NGC, the hoard yielded this coin and a 1942 NGC PF66 cameo Liberty Walking Half Dollar which also resides in this set. Neither coin has been submitted in an attempt to obtain an upgrade, but this coin certainly has upgrade potential. Both sides of this coin have thick cameo contrast and deeply mirrored fields. Even the sun's face features a delicate layer of tantalizing mint frost. The coin is brilliant and untoned. It is also haze and spot free. The images do not do it justice. This coin should have been awarded the cameo designation, and I have seen inferior coins in cameo designated holders with both services.

In the near future, I hope to resubmit this coin for reconsideration and ultimately submit it to CAC once it is in its final holder.
