A gorgeous gold $20 coin celebrating Jamaicas 10th Anniversary of independence in 1972. The reverse has 3 ships from Columbus second expedition to the new world..the Nina, the Cardera and the San Juan.In 1494 a violent hurricane struck the fleet and all of the fleet were sunk... only Columbus's favorite ship-the Nina- survived - this gold coin has a very red/gold color to it...try as I might I can't seem to get a picture that looks like the coin does in hand
