A Notgeld (emergency money) piece celebrating the 700th anniversary of the town privileges of Peine, Germany (Lower Saxony).
The obverse is a rendition of the coat of arms of the city of Peine which is described as: Escutcheon split of gold and red, a leaping black wolf above, two outward sloping golden wheat sheaves, upon a floor of green.
