Fabulous depiction of crane investigating the throat of a dog which has its left forepaw raised, Ref: (Storer 1185; BDM –), Fondateur de la laryngologie à Lyon, Medallist's signature bottom left. Edge: Bronze + triangle Hallmark. Size: 69mm x 49mm. Dr Jean Garel, throat and larynx specialist, Lyon. Purchased in Belgium. Cf. DNW, Lot 2544, 11 July, 2006.
