Medal, Plaquette, 1898, Silver Color Base Metal, France. PHOTO CLUB OF PARIS 1898, Signed "SAM". Rectangle with arched top, dated and awarded in 1898 to Exhibitors, awarded to A. Marguery. Top, Photo Club De Paris, Sun with Rays in center, two daffodils with stems crossing warmed by sun, Sam to right, 1898 below right, awardee name at left bottom in tablet. Size: 101mm x 67mm. The Photo Club de Paris was founded in 1888. Purchased from Hedley Betts. The collection also has another plaquette from the Photo Club of Paris, dated 1897.
