Medal, Plaquette, Awarded 1952, c.1930, Bronze, France. LE LAIT (MILK) by Pierre-Charles Lenoir (1879–1953). First Prize square plaquette awarded to Mr G. Antoine-May, Concours Du Meilleur Rendement Moyen D'Etable. Obv. Woman milking cow, beautiful high relief surfaces, apple tree behind cow's head, milk bucket, P. Lenoir signed in lower left corner; Rv. Bottles and Milk Products on Table, award info bottom center in 5 line inscription, Syndicat Special at left edge, De Controle Et Beurrier at top, De L'ill De France at right edge. Very Attractive. Triangle Hallmark and Bronze on edge. Purchased at the Chicago ANA World Fair of Money, August 2014.
