Owner Comments:

This 31.135 grams, .999 Ag, 32.60mm in diameter & 6mm thick, Australian Kangaroo High Relief coin had a maximum mintage of just 20,000 and the Perth Mint issued no more than 19,000 in the limited edition packaging (this coin is #02112). This coin has a low NGC population of just 2928. The coin’s high relief reverse and obverse are minted on concave surfaces to ensure the optimum flow of metal is achieved by the strike of the die. The coins obverse depicts an adult kangaroo standing in an outback desert scene. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and the 2013 year-date. The reverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
