Obverse: General Juan Martin de Pueyrredon standing; Reverse: Inauguracion De la Estatua Del Director Supremo De / Las Provincias Unidas Del Rio De La Plata 1816-1819 / En La Ciudad De Buenos Aires Mayo De 1911. Juan Martín de Pueyrredón y O'Dogan was an Argentine general and politician of the early 19th century. He was appointed Supreme Director of the United Provinces of the Río de la Plata after the Argentine Declaration of Independence. This rare plaquette memorializes the Inauguration.
