Medal, 1962, AR, SEATTLE WORLDS FAIR LARGE 64mm, 156.4 Gram SILVER MEDAL, CENTURY 21, Seattle, WA. Rare, Believed to be less than 250 pieces minted by the U.S. Mint. Designed by renowned sculpture artist George Tsutakawa, Signed/Engraved GT near the base of the space needle. The medallion is in mint condition, completely original and in original U.S. Mint cardboard box with bears the emblem of the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia. Obv. "CENTURY 21 EXPOSITION SEATTLE WASHINGTON USA 1962"; Rv. "SPACE AGE WORLD'S FAIR UNITED STATES COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL". Part of the Hornreich Collection of Seattle World's Fair Medals and Memorabilia.
