Celebrating the bicentennial of G.W's birth, the Fredricksburgh, Va. Mason's lodge, Washington was a member of nearby Alexandria lodge, but attended meetings here, this medal issued in commemoration of the event. Obv. Standing G.W in ceremonial apron, surrounded by candles, legend around, George Washington Bicentennial, dates at right, 1732-1932; Rv. Mason Logo, Washington the Mason at top in banner, 8 line inscription, Entered / Fredericksburgh Lodge / Nove. 4, 1752 / Appointed / First Master / Alexandria Lodge / No. 22 / April 28, 1788. Masonic Tool with Leaf Design at bottom. Attractive and Historical piece of Washingtonia.
