Medal, 1893, AL, COLUMBUS LIBERTY- CONSILIO ET ANIMIS, Spirit of Chicago Medal, United States, Chicago, Aluminum Medal Eglit-116, Size: 51mm. NGC graded MS-64, Cert# 2428335-002. Obverse has Columbus bust with French-Latin legend along edge; Rv. Chicago city Goddess standing with American eagle and draped flags with legend along edge on reverse. A very popular medal and unusual design. Scarce medal, but especially scarce in this higher mint state grade.
