France, Silver Medal Dated 1747. Louis XV. NGC AU55, Cert# 2755394-017. Beautiful Colorful Patina. Designed by Marteau in 1747. On the successful defense of the besieged fortress of mountains with collaboration of the Kurbayerischen Infantry-body regiment. Obv. Minerva bust of the king, Rv. 11 lines of writing. 41.8 mm (although holder states 68 mm). Ex Goldberg Auction #74, June 2013, Lot# 4316.
