Certified examples of the 1903 Half Centavo are quite plentiful and full red specimens (even at this grade) are easily obtainable at a reasonable price.

This coin is relatively well struck with beautiful, even red coloring and great eye appeal. I obtained it for a very modest price on eBay and it is one of the first coins I submitted directly to NGC for grading. I was hoping for MS66RD, but the outcome was more than acceptable. As of this revision, it is one of 83 graded by NGC as MS65RD with only 8 finer at MS66RD.
