Owner Comments:
Partly Lustrous AU 1874-S Five: 1874-S $5 AU50 PCGS. CAC. Canary-gold luster fills the margins and plumage of this much better date San Francisco half eagle. The open fields are olive-gold. Relatively unabraded aside from a brief slender mark near star 2. Neither PCGS nor NGC have certified any examples as Mint State.
